Every PPR fitting type in one place: what it’s called, what it does, and which size to order. IFANNova manufactures the full 1138 range — 75 SKUs (1138-1 to 1138-75) in PN20 green, 20/25/32 mm, all heat-fusion jointed and matched to our 1103 pipe. A French brand, European-standard, made in our own facility.
Naming is the first place a PPR order goes wrong — one supplier’s “socket” is another’s “coupling”, and a single missed bridge cross or return water tee stalls a whole installation. IFANNova manufactures the complete series 1138 range in-house, so importers build container lists and contractors spec jobs against one reference where the name on the page matches the part in the carton.

This is the reference our importers use to build container lists and our contractors use to spec a job. All fittings: series 1138, PN20, green, available in 20 / 25 / 32 mm, heat-fusion jointed unless noted. Where naming varies between suppliers, the synonym is in the table — a socket is a coupling.

Choosing the right part on site is faster when it maps to the situation in front of you. Match the scenario to the fitting — then order the sizes you carry.
Use a 90° elbow at walls; switch to a 45° elbow or big bend on long runs where you want lower pressure loss and smoother flow.
Never heat-bend the pipe on site. Use a short cross-over for a single crossing, a bridge cross where the crossing is wider or multiple lines run together.
Equal tee for same-size branches, reducing tee to drop from a 32 mm main to a 20 mm feed; double elbow for twin hot/cold mixer points.
Water heater, tap, meter, existing steel pipe — always a brass-insert threaded fitting (female/male socket, elbow or tee). Never a plain plastic thread.
Boiler, pump, meter, tank — use a female or male union so service work doesn’t mean cutting the pipe.
Fuse in a stop valve on the main, a downstream cock on the branch.
End cap for pipe ends, thread plug for unused threaded outlets — and to hold pressure during testing.
Pipe clips at regular intervals keep hot lines from sagging; the return water tee is purpose-made for hot-water return loops back to the heater.
For the pipe diameters and wall thicknesses behind these choices, see the how-to-choose piping guide.
Every plumbing system eventually touches metal — a tap, a water heater, a meter, an old steel riser. That transition point is where cheap PPR systems fail: a plain plastic thread deforms under tightening torque and hot-water expansion, then weeps, then cracks.
IFANNova solves it the way European-standard systems do: a machined brass insert moulded into the fitting body. The PPR side heat-fuses to the pipe; the brass side gives a true metal-to-metal thread that takes sealant, torque and thermal cycling for the life of the system.

A PPR joint is only as reliable as the match between pipe and fitting. Every fitting on this page is produced in the same factory, from the same 100% high-standard raw material, as our PN20 pipe (series 1103) — so when the heat-fusion tool welds them at the socket, pipe and fitting become one homogeneous piece. No glue, no gasket, no threaded leak path in the wet zone.
The material itself is non-toxic — containing only carbon and hydrogen — which is why the same fittings serve drinking water, hot & cold supply, underfloor heating and HVAC without a change of spec. Ten thousand in-house moulds keep socket tolerances consistent across all ~75 SKUs and every reorder.

Whether the destination is a GCC tender or a Francophone-Africa distribution network, the fittings carry the same European-standard certification portfolio as the rest of the IFANNova PPR system. German SKZ is one of the strictest polymer-pipe certification bodies in the industry; WRAS covers potable-water contact; DVGW is German gas & water technical approval; CE is European conformity. For a tender to clear, this is the paperwork your consultant and the authority want to see before approval.

For the importer & the hardware chain — five functional groups: connection fittings (sockets, reducing sockets, connections, end caps, plugs), direction & branch fittings (90°/45° elbows, bends, crossovers, tees, crosses), brass-insert threaded fittings (female/male sockets, elbows, tees, unions), valves (stop valves, downstream cocks) and accessories (pipe clips). IFANNova makes the full 1138 range — around 75 SKUs, PN20, 20/25/32 mm.
For the contractor — a socket is fused permanently — once welded, pipe and fitting are one piece, ideal for buried and in-wall runs. A union has a threaded brass-insert nut, so the joint unscrews for service. Rule of thumb: sockets everywhere by default, a union at every appliance you’ll ever need to remove — boiler, meter, pump, tank.
For the contractor & the importer — plain plastic threads deform under tightening torque and hot-water expansion, then leak or crack. A machined brass insert moulded into the fitting gives a metal-to-metal thread that seals against taps, heaters, meters and steel pipe for the system’s life. Every IFANNova threaded fitting — sockets, elbows, tees, unions — carries one.
For the importer & the hardware chain — yes. All ~75 SKUs come from our own 120,000 m² factory with 10,000 in-house moulds, so one order covers everything from 90° elbows to bridge crosses, return water tees and pipe clips — no gaps on your container list or your shelf. Packing quantities and container loading plans: Coming soon (confirmed per order).
For the contractor & the estimator — the 1138 fittings series runs in 20, 25 and 32 mm, PN20, in green — matched to our 1103 pipe, with reducing fittings covering the step-downs between sizes and threaded fittings paired to standard thread sizes. For pipe outside diameters and wall thicknesses behind those sizes, see the how-to-choose piping guide.
For the brand owner & the distributor — yes — as a French brand with our own factory, we supply the fittings range under your branding and packaging. Exact MOQ, lead time and trade terms: Coming soon — confirmed on request based on your SKU mix and volume.
